AromaTouch Technique combines the unique benefits of human touch with the power of essential oils. The experience is about emotionally connecting with another person to form feelings of trust and create an overall wellness experience.
The Relaxation Phase initiates the AromaTouch journey with oils and motions to settle the mind and body. It marks the beginning of the connections that will be built as the technique is administered and prepares the receiver for the overall, full-body experience of AromaTouch.
Comfort and calm are the aims of the Supportive Phase. Tea Tree and On Guard have been chosen for their unique benefits that complement the connections reached at this stage in the technique.

The Invigorating Phase is the only area of the technique where two oils are used together and applied at the same time. The properties of Wild Orange and Peppermint combined provide synergistic benefits. The movements are performed on the back and feet.
Although no oils are used, the Lymphatic Movement is crucial to the desired end result of the AromaTouch Technique. Reaching this step signals the end of the journey for the giver and recipient. A strong connection has developed and created a positive response in their wellbeing.

As pregnant women may find lying on their front uncomfortable, alternatives like side-lying or seated positions with slight posture adjustments to aid the receiver allow the full technique to still be administered properly. If side-lying is also challenging, recipients can sit backwards in a chair. Instead of working on the feet, the giver would perform the foot portion of the technique on the hands; however, we always recommend consulting with their physician.
Individual responses vary, but limit to one full technique daily. This allows time to integrate the experience.
